SERVICES

We perform home inspections according to the Home Inspection Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. We also offer ancillary inspections. These are additional types of inspections that you may be interested in hiring us to perform for you. Feel free to ask your inspector about additional inspection services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.

SAMPLE REPORT

At the end of the inspection, we will produce a written inspection report for you. The report will be easy-to-read and clear to understand. We will include pictures of the systems and components of the home and building that we inspect. We will also provide a summary of the defects that we observed during the inspection.

About Us

Greg Peck at InspectR offers home inspection services for buyers in western Nova Scotia from the Annapolis Valley to Yarmouth.

As a trained, certified, and insured home inspector, Greg can provide a detailed home inspection before you buy or sell a home.  When you choose InspectR, you can expect a thorough, easy-to-read summary report detailing the health and condition of the property, as well as critical systems and components.  Your report containing photos and information will be compiled in an electronic pdf to your phone or computer.  If there are any major or minor deficiencies in the property – you’ll know.

With Greg’s more than 25 years in the construction and carpentry trades, he can provide valuable insight into the home maintenance needs and the health of commercial properties.  Greg works exclusively for his clients.  He also owns and operates a residential/commercial property, so he understands the “ins and outs” of many property types, but, to his customers, he’s simply the guy that can “make it happen.”

What We Inspect

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible.

During a home inspection, the following systems and components are inspected:

  1. Interior, exterior, walls, windows, and doors

  2. HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)

  3. Basement, crawlspace, and structure

  4. Fireplace

  5. Roof and attic

  6. Electrical

  7. Plumbing
